25 Weeks!

Here we are this past Saturday putting the crib together... FINALLY :D I was so excited to see what it would look like! Unfortunately, we don't have a crib mattress, so I couldn't put all the bedding together just yet, but it's a start! Pardon the no makeup, Jason said someday our son will think it's sweet to see his pregnant mom putting his crib together... warmed my heart :)










So, I officially am 25 weeks pregnant today... I am very interested/scared to see the comparison from before ;-)





The completed crib-- remember, no mattress and no curtains or wall decor YET!



The bedding reminded both of us of our honeymoon in Costa Rica... We were surrounded by monkeys, birds and rainforest and thought it was a peaceful and cute baby motif! My mom gave me the great idea of finding little crystal dragonflies that will sparkle with the nightlight on at night... Sounded so pretty and sweet to me, now if I can just find the dragonflies...



Taking a closer look in, you can see some of the things I've collected so far... including my giraffe diaper bag which goes with his infant carrier below, also his first little stuffed giraffe from my mom, all his handsome Janie and Jack baby clothes complete with several pairs of overalls (I love little baby bubble overalls!) and my favorite, the monkey and iPood onesies, not to mention Fred the Frog, the first stuffed animal to Caden from Mom ;)



Notice where his little baby head and little baby bum go... such a tiny little space, hehe ;-)


Mommy and Daddy-to-be in just 15 more weeks!
